DESCRIPTION:
Marmosets are small members of the monkey family which grow to a length of approx 14-19cm not including the tail and weigh 300-500 grammes.
They are arboreal (tree-dwelling) and Geoffroy's marmosets are one of a few species that specialise in feeding on tree sap.
Marmosets live in small family groups, normally with one dominant breeding pair and up to 12 other individuals. They usually give birth to 2 babies twice a year and have a life span of about 12 years.
Below is a video of one of our new babies, please feel free to take a look.
